The Songwriter Online was started to provide useful information to aspiring and working songwriters regarding technologies, websites, tools, and strategies for organizing your business, working with your team, online promotion, website optimization, and social media.

It was started by Matthew Moran.

Matt Moran spent many years as a technology consultant and workshop presenter. He is also a performing songwriter. As he began performing more he ran into bands, performers, and members of their street teams who struggle with some of the basic technologies available to them.
